  • ●  As you have a full understanding of the investment risk, you will trade with AETOS without receiving a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) or Financial Services Guide (FSG).
  • ●  External dispute resolution body (the Australian Financial Complaints Authority “AFCA”) may exclude your complaint.

To apply for a Professional Account, you need to pass at least one of the following tests:

Individual Wealth Test Sophisticated Investor Test
You have net assets2 of at least $2.5 million;
Or
You have gross annual income of $250,000 for each of the last two financial years.


A government issued income statement and/or the certificate by a qualified accountant.
Investment Experience
1. Your annual gross income is no less than $100,000 or total investment portfolio is no less than $500,000;  and
2. You have traded at least 15 times per quarter for any 4 quarters over the last 3 years; and
3. In each of the 4 quarters, you need to have a minimum quarterly trading volume (closed trades) of at least $500,000;
Or
Working Experience
You have worked in the finance industry for at least one year in a position which requires knowledge of and/or is exposed to leveraged derivatives trading.

Individual investors who meet any of the requirements above can apply for the Professional Account.

How to apply for Professional Account?

Step one: Sign up for an AETOS account.
Step two: Login to BizCentre, click “Professional Account Application”, choose account type, and complete online application form (when eligible).
Step three: Waiting for the review outcome and your account will be upgraded to AETOS Professional Account.

*Professional account will be available for Wholesale Clients and Sophisticated Investors (as defined under the Corporations Act 2001).

^Client Money Rules will continue to be applied to retail clients and Sophisticated Investors.

2 Net assets may include all fixed, current and investment assets as follows: - Savings, stocks, bonds, futures and other liquid assets under your name.
- Housing, land, property and other real estate assets under your name.
- Other private fixed assets under your name, such as cars, boats, etc.
- The net worth of your business.
- Pensions and trust funds.

3 Raw spreads will be available for AETOS Professional Account, while the actual spread will ultimately depend on the quote from liquidity providers.
